Pocahontas- Doris Ruth Byrd, 73, passed away January 5, 2017 at Randolph Home.

Doris was born November 2, 1943 in Wynne, AR to the late Henry and Bertha Stowers Baldwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson, and 4 brothers.

She is survived by husband, Shelby Byrd; children, Shelby Gene (Patricia) Byrd, Tim (Angie) Byrd, Thresa Poe, Jeff (Stacey) Byrd, Nancy (Ben) Sims; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 8 sisters; and the extended family, the staff and nurses at Randolph Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 1-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm with Calvin Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Maynard Cemetery.
