Mr. Donald Leroy Wright, a lifetime resident of Weiner, departed this life Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at his home, at the age of 86.
He was born September 30, 1931, in Weiner, the son of the late Russell Wright and Anna Koster Wright.
Donald farmed all his life and was a U.S. Army Korean Veteran. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his interest was anything and everything about farming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde Wright, Ervin Wright and Earl Wright, and three sisters, Betty Jones, Mary Moore, and Bellva Fuller.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Wright of the home, one son, Larry Wright of Weiner, one daughter, Sharon Wright of Valley View, four grandchildren, one great grandson, three step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.
