Donald Ray Shocklee, 72, of Pocahontas, departed this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Donald was born on October 17, 1953, in Pocahontas to the late Earl James Shocklee and Gladys Marie Roach Shocklee.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice Lea Rowe Shocklee, with whom he is now reunited; his parents, Earl James and Gladys Marie Shocklee; and his siblings, Earl Dean Baltz, Sandra Burgett, and James “Sonny” Shocklee.

He is survived by his brother, John (Nancy) Shocklee of Bonne Terre, Missouri, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Palestine Cemetery, with Matthew Kerley and Jeremy Bundren officiating.
