Jonesboro - Donald Eugene Leggett, 66, passed Thursday, October 29, 2015. He was born October 10, 1949 in Wapella, Illinois to the Robert Glen Leggett and Nelly Mae McMahan Leggett. He retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years. He also worked as private security for State Farm. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Leggett; his children and their spouses, Catina and Erik Struble and James Robert and Amanda Leggett all of Bloomington, Illinois; two brothers and their wives, Robert and Charlotte Leggett of Normal, Illinois and Charles and Nancy Leggett of Kenny, Illinois; five grandchildren, Cidra Elberth (Christopher), Devon Smith, Desirae Smith, Riane Struble and Tiffany Struble; three great-grandchildren, Claudia Elberth, Stryker Hemsley and Thai Hemsley. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 2, 2015 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Honored to service as pallbearers are James Manuel, Devon Smith, Jackson Pannell, Travis Troutman, David Carter, Scott Leggett, Robert Leggett and Mark Horne.
