Donald Logan Fowler, 81, of Maynard, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Don was born June 18, 1940 in Maynard, AR to Mont and Maxine Plumlee Fowler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mont and Maxine Fowler; and stepson, Zendoyle Ramsey.

Don is survived by his wife, Loretta Jones Fowler; daughter, Denice Fowler of Jonesboro; grandson, Ethan Gibson of Richmond, CA; granddaughter, Ariana Gibson Smith of Jonesboro; and sisters, Saralee Fowler Anderson of Clifty, AR, and Elaine Fowler Southerland of Kingman, AZ.

Don enjoyed playing cards with friends and jovial arguments over politics.  He loved the Lord and was always present on Sundays at Whitt's Chapel Southern Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher and lead singing.  Some of his favorite hymns include "Will the Circle be Unbroken", "I'll Fly Away", and "In the Garden".

There will be a visitation Sunday, October 31, 2021, 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Ingram Cemetery.  Service will begin at 2:00 P.M.  with Dr. Gary Gregory officiating.  Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Home of Monticello.
