Ravenden - Donald Conway Coon Sr, 77, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home in Ravenden, AR.

Donald was born October 13, 1940 in Gurdon, AR to the late Conway and Effie Brown Coon. Donald was a faithful member of the Southern Baptist Church. He was the pastor at Ravenden Springs Baptist Church and also pastored several churches across Arkansas for over 50 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Conrad Coon and Jackie Joel Coon; and sister Joyce Coon Quillin.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Linda Sickles Coon, children, Donald (Deborah) Coon Jr of Hot Springs, Dr. Lee (Beth) Coon of Pocahontas; Grandchildren, Jonathan (Krystal), Kris (Stephanie), Grayson, Jackson, Laura Beth, and Emilee; great grandchildren, Charlie and Caitlin; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and many friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10 am at Dail Cemetery.
