Donald Edward Cook, 74 of Pocahontas, passed away March 29, 2022, at Five Rivers Medical Center.  He was born August 9, 1947, to Claude Cook Sr. and Hattie Belle Crisp Cook in Walnut Ridge, AR. Donald served in the Navy and was retired from Centurytel – GTE Donald was a beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Hattie Cook; son Aaron Reed Cook; brothers Claude Cook Jr. and Gary Cook.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Weeks Cook; daughters Ashley (Shane) Baker and Lacey Cook; son Cody Cook; grandchildren Parker Cook, Madison Huckabee, Rossi Robinson and Case Robinson; siblings Diane Mauldin and Ron Cook; special nephew John Cook and many other nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 2 in the Markham Cemetery at Egypt with Cecil Fuller officiating.
