Don Lee Thornton, 82, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday December 15, 2012 at his home. He was born June 19, 1930 in Walnut Ridge to the late George Lewis and Sadie Bernice Fry Thornton. Mr. Thornton proudly served his country in the Air Force and took part in the Berlin Airlift as well as serving in the Korean War. Mr. Thornton was also retired from General Motors.
