Pocahontas - Don Roy Reed, 93, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013. Born March 19, 1920 in Gatewood, MO. to the late Ed and Icie Reed. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Reed, two brothers, Doris Reed and Duel Reed and two sisters, Juanita Goodwin and Qualah Bennett. He is survived by his children, Donna Camp of Pocahontas, Jim Reed of West Palm Beach, FL., and Jana Buggica of Pocahontas. Five grandchildren include: Audumn and husband Corey Rice of Pocahontas, Sarah Reed of Sausalito, CA., Joyce Reed of West Palm Beach, FL., Jennifer McGilton of Stuggart and Zac Buggica of Pocahontas and 5 great grandchildren, Madison Rice, Lucy Rice and Emma Rice all of Pocahontas, Kaylee McGilton of Stuttgart and Eva Moser of Pocahontas. Don was a Randolph County Sheriff from 1955-1958. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Randy Scott officiating in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Promberger Traw Post #4556.
