Obituary
Mr. Don Anderson of Widener, departed this life Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 72.
He was born April 16, 1948 in Parkin, the son of the late James Anderson and Lilly Mae Payne Anderson. Don was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a construction worker most of his life and enjoyed fishing and gambling.
He is survived by one sister, Louise Vaughn of Amagon; one brother, Carter Anderson of Purlington, MS, and his lifelong friend since the 3rd grade, Jerry Hogan of Wynne.
Don\u0027s wish was to be cremated and buried on his property.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg.
