Amory, Mississippi- Dollie Dimple Kent, 97, formerly of Jonesboro passed away Friday, March 30, 2018. She was born October 22, 1920, in Desha, AR to the late Charles and Mattie Seymore Plaster.

She owned and operated Kent's Drive-In for many years and had also worked at Frolic Footwear and Western Auto. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Charles "Wes" Kent and wife Judy of Mountain View and Winona Emmons of Dundee, Mississippi; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rubert Kent; three brothers, Everett Plaster, Clint Plaster, and Milton Plaster, and two sisters, Lula Williamson and Golda Mae Manning.

A graveside service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Wes Kent officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

There will be no visitation.
