Obituary
Pocahontas- Dixie Robinett, 89, passed away February 23, 2017 at Randolph Home.
Dixie was born August 20, 1927 in Randolph County to George and Susie Edmonson Thompson.
Dixie had many friends throughout Northeast Arkansas as well as many Thompson uncles, aunts and cousins. She had a passion for playing Bingo every week and having a catfish dinner. Besides her family that she loved dearly, she loved the Lord with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Charles Bennett, Richard Robinett, Sr.; and brother, Clay Thompson.
She is survived by stepsons; Richard Jr. (Linda) Robinett of Hot Springs, Terry (Victoria) Robinett of Jonesboro; stepdaughter, Jan (J.C.) Taylor of Tennessee; special niece, Mary (Tom) Arnold; and 3 other nieces and a nephew living in Kansas.
It is the request of Dixie that she be cremated and there be no service of any type. There will be a private family burial. Arrangements under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Elnora Free Will Baptist Church.
