Mr. Dennis Partain, of Harrisburg, departed this life Friday, October 16, 2015, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 61. He was born August 7, 1954, in Harrisburg, AR, the son of the late Charles Trumann Partain and Pearl Lee Kinderick. Dennis was very active in Church work and activities and drove the Church bus. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting. He was President of the Sidney Creek Deer Camp. Dennis worked as a road grader operator and he retired from working as a Jailer in Harrisburg. He also worked for the Harrisburg Fire Department for over twenty years. He is survived by a son, Christopher Partain, of the home, a daughter, Tabitha Patty of Midland, Michigan, three granddaughters, Kylie Partain of Hillsboro, Oregon, McKenzie Partain of Harrisburg, Arkansas, and Brooke Patty of Midland, Michigan, a grandson, Spencer Mott of Midland, Michigan, a half-brother, David Emery of Utah. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, at The First Baptist Church in Harrisburg with Rev. Kelly Jones officiating. There will be a visitation from 7:00 until 9:00 Monday evening at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Anthony King, Spencer Mott, James Ray Pittman, Wayne Lore, Michael Partain, Steven Pittman and Joey Dill will serve as pallbearers.
