Pocahontas - Dennis Lloyd Hill, 56, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012. Born May 22, 1956 in Pocahontas to the late Lloyd and Lorraine Hill. He is survived by wife Lisa Hill of the home whom he married in 1983, son Matthew Lloyd Hill and sister Diane Hill of Pocahontas. Dennis was a Randolph Co. Sheriff Office Deputy from 1975-1980. A trooper for Arkansas State Police from 1980-1996 where he retired. He then went back to work at Waterloo Industries from 1996-2007, he then became a 911 dispatcher in 2009 to present. Mr. Hill was also a member of First Baptist Church. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Van Fund. Memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at First Baptist Church and a memorial service will be held directly after at 7 p.m. with Eric Moffett officiating.
