Delores Ann
Johnson
January 29, 1952 – October 27, 2025

She began her nursing journey by earning her LPN in 1977, later graduating from Arkansas State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her career at St. Bernards Hospital served for more than forty years, ending with her retirement from St. Bernards Behavioral Health in 2017. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Delores loved her family deeply and found joy in traveling, pampering herself with manicures, and spending time with those she cherished most.
She is survived by her daughter, Christy Hinton of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Sara Hinton and Dylan Hinton of Jonesboro; and great-grandson, Kannen Hinton of Jonesboro. She also leaves behind her sisters: Willene Warnick of Gentry, Linda Barber (Clarence) of Forrest City, Brenda Hall of Jonesboro, and Jan Cranford (Wesley) of Harrisburg; brothers: Donald Frames (Paulette) of Wynne and Jerry Frames (Betty) of Parkin, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Stanley Johnson, and brothers E.J. Frames and Delmar Frames.
A visitation to celebrate Delores's life will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. The Arkansas Nurses Honor Guard will pay tribute to her service at 12:45PM.
