Obituary

Mr. Delbert Wayne "Bo" Fowler of Jonesboro, departed this life Wednesday morning, September 28, 2016, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 77. He was born February 5, 1939 in Weona, AR, the son of the late Lilburn Aubrey Fowler and Ethel Redd Fowler. Delbert was a retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. For 12 of his 20 years of service, he worked for the Secretary of Defense at the Pentegon. Following his retirement from the Air Force, He went back to school and earned a B.A. in Accounting and Computer Technology. He operated his own business, Delbert Fowler, CPA for over 10 years in Jonesboro. After retiring as a CPA, he worked at the NEA Baptist Clinic Wellness Center for 6 years and loved his time there. He married Glenda Loggains on September 7, 1985, and they enjoyed 31 years together. In his early years, he enjoyed water skiing and golfing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Fowler. He is survived by his wife Glenda Fowler of the home, three daughters, Andrea Seidenschwarz (Chad) of Paragould, Cass Andersen (Roy) of Cordova, Jackie Latham (Tim) of Paragould, four brothers, Jimmy Fowler (Linda) of Trumann , Leon Fowler (Leslie) of Manchester, TN, Larry Fowler (Karen) of Trumann, and Ronnie Fowler (Glenda) of Clearwater, FL, two sisters, Donnie Morgan (Royce) of Monticello and Brenda Gatlin (Wayne) of Conway, one grandchild, Ashlee Gray of Paragould and two great grandchildren, Aiden Gray and Thea Gray, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Forbis, pastor of Calvary Pentecostal Church, officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday, noon till service time. Full military honors will be given at the service. Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association or the Kidney Foundation.
