Maynard- Debra Jean Samons, 54, passed away March 15, 2016 at NEA Baptist Hospital. Debra was born August 4, 1961 in Germany to Ava Jane Greer and Clayton Greer. She is survived by her husband of the home, Charles Owen Samons, sister Millie (Jim) Todd of Supply; brothers Richard "Peanut" Greer of Maynard and Danny Greer of Charlotte Michigan; brother-in-law Olan (Mae) Samons of Stokes; sisters-in-law Mermain Bellah of Lansing Michigan, Marsha Greer of Abilene, Texas; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother Erma Greer, son Wilson Samons, grandparents, brothers James "Jim Bo" Greer, John Greer; and nephew Zeb Todd. Services will be at McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm. A funeral service will be Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Stan Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Ingram Cemetery in Maynard. Pallbearers: Rob Samons, Doug Fuller, Caleb Rogers, Luke Bergman, Joe Cartwright, Brandon Burk, Kyle Radcliff, Tim Samons. Honorary pallbearers: Waylon Rogers, Wesley Smith and Jason Nelson.
