Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Golden, 56, of Pocahontas, AR died on, August 01, 2011. She was born November 02, 1954 to Frank E. And Mary Florence Walden. Debbie attended Jonesboro Public Schools, Arkansas State University and Mid-South School of Banking. She is survived by two daughters, Lyndsey Brook Golden of Kenmore, WA and Kelsey Claire Golden; their father, Dr. Steve Golden; her mother, Mary Florence Walden; two brothers, Frank David Walden and Lisa, all of Jonesboro and John Nelson Walden and Sherri, of Pocahontas; special friends Vicky Powers and Cathy Earley along with many other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank E. Walden. Debbie was an avid animal lover and enjoyed anything that kept her outdoors. She maintained her quick wit and strong will throughout her battle with cancer. She reminded us to laugh everyday and be kind to animals. A celebration of the life of Debbie Golden will be held in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, on August 05, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with Scott Wedding officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:00 p.m. prior to service starting. At her request, the body will be cremated. .
