Deborah Louise Burk, of Trumann, departed this life Friday, December 28, 2018, at the St. Bernard\u0027s Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 61.
She was born July 31, 1957 in Marked Tree, AR, the daughter of the late Alvin Stone and Juanita Stephens Stone Whitehead.
Deborah worked for an airline company in Missouri as a baggage handler early in life. After moving back to Arkansas, she worked as a CNA at a nursing home. She loved reading, game shows, puzzles, etc. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, Alvin and Juanita, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Teftteller, William Stone, and Charles White, and one sister, MaeRine Whitehead.
She is survived by two daughters, Penny Manuel of Walnut Grove, MO and April Stefka of Springfield, Missouri, three sisters, Wilma Payne of Searcy, AR, Etta Long of Harrisburg, AR and Catherine Renfro of Trumann, AR, one brother, Lynn Carmen of Corinth, MS, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2019, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
