David Lonnie Williams, 79, of Stokes passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Lonnie was born November 5, 1940 in the Albertha community to the late David Benjamin and Wilma Harris Williams. He was a carpenter, electrician, proud Army veteran, and a longtime member and song leader of the Stokes Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents David Benjamin and Wilma Harris Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Cona Jean Kerley Williams; son, Jeffrey David (Nancy) Williams of Bono; daughter, Lisa (Jeffrey) Taylor of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Kyle) Farmer of Little Rock, Emily May Taylor of Jonesboro, and Haley Brooke Taylor of Jonesboro; special great granddaughter Arian Stallnacker; sister, Mary Kathryn (Don) Dalton of Jonesboro, and many other relatives and friends.
All services will be Sunday, March 8, 2020 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM with a funeral service beginning at 2PM with Gary Buxton and Jimmy Young officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Jarrett Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tom Ed Buxton, Wendell Johnston, Amos Lemons, Mike Ulmer, Don Williams, and Jeffrey Taylor
Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Todd Williams, Don Dalton, Ronald Kerley, and Dan Mitchell
