David Raymond Snell Sr, 73, of Maynard passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at his home.

He was born October 5, 1947 in St. Louis to the late August and Louise Klein Snell. We was retired from the United States Navy, served four tours of duty in Vietnam, and later worked as a truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, August and Louise Snell; his wife, Joyce Dodson Snell; and one brother, Edward Snell.

David is survived by his children, Sally (Keith) Montgomery of Herculaneum, MO, David Jr (Kim) Snell of Barnhart, MO, David Wayne Snell of Texas, and Anton (Tammie) Saale of Maynard; five grandchildren, Aryanna Montgomery of Desoto, MO, William Montgomery of Herculaneum, MO, Acelyn, Shelby, and Gus Snell of Texas; two great grandchildren, Delilah and Kaiden of Desoto, MO; sister, Pat (Larry) Hufford of Walnut Ridge; brother, Joe Snell of Walnut Ridge; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 2-4 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a military funeral service beginning at 4 PM. Cremation will take place following all services.
