Our precious son, Dave Aron Matthews, 44, went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, August 22, 2020. He was a blessing to us all while he was on this earth. A loving kindhearted soul that never met a stranger.

Dave attended Great Harvest Church in Pocahontas and he loved the Lord. He was an avid car and car audio lover and previously employed with Audio Express in Jonesboro.

He was preceded in death by his little brother, Jamison "Cookie" Matthews; grandparents, John and Mildred Gunter and Chestley and Glenda Matthews.

He is survived by those who love him dearly, mother, Shirley Matthews Fowler and step-father, Steve Fowler; father, David Matthews and step-mother, Carla Matthews; a daughter, Dominique Kajun Matthews; son, Zachary Jamison Matthews (Angel); bonus daughter, Jasmine Bates; sisters, Milissa Matthews Johnson (Troy), Magan Matthews Wilson (Justin), Dagny Matthews Duley (Justin); brother, David Matthews (Shoshawna); grandchildren, Skylar, Malakhi, Jax and Blayden; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dave had chosen cremation as a final resting place. We will have a memorial for family and friends at a later date.

We love him and will miss him with all our hearts.
