Darrell Warren Mathews, 83, of Pocahontas passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Darrell, better known as "Warren", was born May 6, 1939 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Anna Lucille Reed) Mathews. Warren was the oldest of three children and grew up in the Manson area. Warren retired from the Natural Gas Pipeline of America in Biggers, AR after 30 years.

Warren married his wife Blondell LoAnn (Bush) on December 3, 1960. Warren and LoAnn were married for 61 years and together had three sons.

Mr. Mathews is survived by his wife Blondell Loann Mathews; sons Gregory (Erin) Mathews of Maynard, Gary Mathews of Ravenden Springs, and Rodney Mathews of Jonesboro. Four grandchildren, Eric Mathews of Jonesboro, Stephanie Mathews of Jonesboro, Katelyn Mathews of Pocahontas, Audree Mathews of Pocahontas; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to family and friends.

Warren is also survived by this sister Ginger (the late Tom Ed) Swindle and brother Kenneth "Sonny" (Bea) Mathews both of Pocahontas.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 6, at 10:30am at McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 11:15am at Randolph Memorial Gardens in Pocahontas.
