Obituary

Jonesboro- Darrell Glover, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at his residence.

He was born February 7, 1953 in Monette to Ancel and Mildred Glover. He proudly served in the Arkansas National Guard. He was a co/owner of G \u0026 W Machine Shop in Lake City. Darrell was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoors and sports man and was a Hank Williams Sr. fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ancel Glover.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Halsey Glover of Lake City; his children, Diana Glover Young (John) and Darren Glover (Jasmine) all of Jonesboro; a brother, Gaylon Glover (Glenda) of Lake City; a sister, Karen Glover Bland (Michael) of Lake City; four grandchildren, Maria Brietz, Chancelor Glover, Aaralyn Glover and Spencer Glover.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm, Monday April 3, 2017 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Rev. Elvis Brandon officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 1:00 until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeff Spencer, Tanner O'Guinn, T. J. Starks, Thurman Coffey, Garland Tipton and Justin Rolland.
