Pocahontas- Danny Preston Strange, 62, passed away on June 25, 2018 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas.

Danny was born on August 10, 1955 in Rockford, IL to Less and Leona Weatherford Strange.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; wife, Marylan Strange; sister, Willene Huff; and niece, Tammie Henzman.

He is survived by step-daughter, Melody Blocher; step-son, Joshua Blocher; siblings, Gerri Frary, Bob (Sherry) Strange, Bill (Linda) Strange, Joe (TK) Strange, Darrell Strange, Darlene (Butch) Swinbank; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at McNabb Funeral Home from 1-2 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm with Carl Massey officiating. Burial will follow in Gravesville Cemetery.

His great nephews are honored to serve as pallbearers.
