Mr. Danny Roy Perry of Harrisburg departed this life Monday, November 14, 2016, at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 71.
He was born July 28, 1945 in Forrest City, Arkansas, the son of Willard Perry and Ola Mae Perry.
He was a truck driver and enjoyed watching wrestling and old westerns. He loved cookouts and camping and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three great grandchildren. He is survived by one daughter, Donna Cosby and her husband Larry, three grandchildren, Brandy Cosby, Michael Cosby, and Magail Noyola, one great granddaughter, Misty Lynn Lambert, all of Cherokee, AL, six sisters, Brenda Perry of Corinth, MS, Bonnie Smith and her husband Jr. of Strawberry, AR, Marie Rolland of Harrisburg, Sheila Forbes of Emmett, ID, Jane Allgood and husband Gene of Rogers, and Helen Priddy of Harrisburg, three brothers, Pete Perry and his wife Virginia of River Rouge, MI, Bud Roach and his wife Joyce of Harrisburg, and Ronnie Perry and his wife Sandy of Clarksville, AR, and many, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Dr. Kelly Jones officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday, noon till service time.
