Daniel Duane Jones, 53, of Pocahontas, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his home.

He was born July 29, 1969 in Illinois to Ronnie Dunn and Jewel Bolin.  Daniel had a big heart, loved his family, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  He was of the Pentecostal belief.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Dunn; brother, Woodrow Dunn; sister, Shelia Marie Dunn; grandparents, Archie and Kristina Dunn who adopted him.

Daniel is survived by five sons, Daniel Jones of Smithville, Timmy (Samantha) Bryant of Imboden, Brett Jones of Judsonia, Hunter (Kathy) Jones of Judsonia, and Kaleb Jones of Pocahontas; daughter, Christina Bryant of Smithville; grandsons, Colter Jones and Ronald Deon Baker; granddaughter, Blakelynn Jones; mother, Jewel Bolin; fiancée, Jennifer Atkinson of Pocahontas; stepchildren, Matthew and Katelyn Atkinson of Pocahontas; sister, Lisa Ann Crow of Searcy; brothers, Gary Jones of Hoxie and Richard Dunn of Pocahontas; and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition.  A private family burial will take place at a later date at Burk's Chapel Cemetery near Camp, Arkansas.
