Daniel Mason Wallace Sr., 76, of Monette passed away December 28, 2013 in Paragould, due to complications from injuries received in a car accident earlier this year. He was born February 2, 1937 in Monette to the late Daniel Richard and Estella Masner Wallace. Mr. Wallace was a farmer, a member of the National Guard and a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Monette. He loved to hunt and fish. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Norma Joy Bearden, and a brother, Richard Wallace. Survivors include his loving wife, Martha Howard Wallace of Monette, daughter, Danielle Schroeder and husband Howell of Lake St. Louis, MO., son, Daniel Mason Wallace Jr. and wife Larisa, of Paragould, grandchildren, Eli Mason Wallace and Ty Larson Wallace both of Paragould and Hayden Alexander Schroeder of Lake St. Louis, MO., The family will receive friends from 10:00am- 12:00 pm, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Monette Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be; John Howard, Bob Howard, Andy Howard, Bobby Howard, Larry Larson and Howell Schroeder.
