Dale Gregory VanFerson, 79, passed away at Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab on January 24, 2025.

Dale was born on October 10, 1945, in Porter, IN., to the late Robert and Dorothy VanFerson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Laverne and Gary VanFerson and Melodee Mcormick.

He is survived by his wife, Fayleen VanFerson of the home; sons, Todd Greer of Rockford, IL., Gregory (Joyce) Greer of Port Huron and daughter-in-law, Angie Graham of Biggers; five grandchildren, Krickett (Nick) Pflug of Atlanta, Tigarre (Derek) Johnson of Biggers, Ethan (Sami) King of Reyno, Mary (Matt) Graham Blevins of Biggers and Harley (Austin) Bailey of Ravenden Springs; ten, great-grandchildren, Eben, Milo, Alma and Theo King, Carter and Abigail Blevins, Scarlet Johnson, Clover Pflug, Lilly and Ember Bailey; sister, Jeannine Rice of Bloomingdale, IL.; special friends, Jack and Terri Downey, Anthony Downey and Heather (Anderson) Klay.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025, with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm with Roger Hovis officiating. All services will be held at Reyno First Baptist Church. A burial will follow in the Hite Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Ethan King, Eben King, Derek Johnson, Nick Pflug, Matt Blevins, Todd Karr, and Jack Downey.
