Mrs. Daisy Mae Sefers Harris departed this life on December 10, 2013 in Jonesboro, AR. Daisy was born January 20, 1941 in Harrisburg, AR to Berley and Inez Sefers. She graduated from Weiner High School and returned to Harrisburg to make her home. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Daisy was retired and enjoyed her time with family and friends laughing and making memories. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Berley and Inez Sefers, her loving husband C.J. Harris, two special brothers Ricky Sefers and Billy Sefers. She is survived by her daughter Dawn Harris of Gilmer, TX, who was not only her daughter, but also her best friend, a precious sister, Barbara Fahr and a special sister in law Donna Sefers. She had three magnificent nephews who all had remarkable families who she adored, Joey and Brooke Sefers of Harrisburg, Adam and Kelli Fahr of Paragould and Matt and Kelly Jo of Harrisburg. Daisy's heart was filled with joy by her three great nieces, Acey, Jade and Ragan Fahr. She loved her friends with all her heart and shared that love even with her grand dog Jazz who all played a part in her happiness. Visitation will be Friday, December 13th at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with services being Saturday, December 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the same location with Greg Long presiding. Burial will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steve Long, Todd Sefers, Jetty Mills, Randy Ingram, Joey Easter and Eric Stonecipher. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Krauss, Tommy Simmons, Roger Austin and Barry Whitaker.
