Jonesboro- Daisy Pearl Allen, 93, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born July 5, 1923 in Waterloo, Alabama to the late James Thomas and Frances Adelaine Grimes Haynes. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Antioch Baptist Church in Brookland. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and great-great-great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, George "Boe" Allen (Glenda) of Paragould, Lou Kambanis of Jonesboro, Bob Allen (Carolyn) of Hardy, Earl Allen and James R. Allen both of Brookland and Steve Allen of Trumann; grandchildren, Lisa Bennett (Mark) of Trumann, Kathy Knowles of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Teri Kambanis of Brookland, Kim Smith (Jim) of Nashville, TN, George "Butch" Kambanis (Karen) of Jonesboro, Ginger Fears (Mikel) of Dallas, Texas, Greg Allen of Jonesboro, Debbie Smith of Brookland, Melissa Tritch (Ivan) of Marmaduke, Sherri Allen of Hardy, Denice Melton (Tommy) of Thayer, Missouri, Jason Allen (Crystal) of Brookland, Seanna Morgan (Tracy) and Jamie Allen all of Jonesboro, Stephanie Thatch (Anthony) of Pocahontas, Hunter Allen (Raeann), Lauren Allen all of Caraway, Phillip Hitchcock (Vicki) of Brookland and Tracey Carvell (Rich) of Bentonville; best friend and granddaughter, Ashley Doke (Toby) of Trumann; a sister, Mae Pillow (Hershel) of Houston, Texas; a former daughter-in-law, Dianne Allen of Brookland; forty great-grandchildren, twenty great-great-grandchildren and a great-great-great-grandchild.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Allen; brothers and sisters, Thomas Haynes, Minnie Yearry, Maisy Ipock, Mable Yearry, Bertha Anderson and Betty Wax.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating and eulogy by Toby Doke. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jason Allen, Greg Allen, Hunter Allen, Chance Tritch and Jared Phillips and honorary pallbearers, Toby Doke and Tyler Branscum.
