Jonesboro- D. Max Williams Jr, 63, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born February 4, 1959 at Redstone Arsenal Army Base at Huntsville, AL. Max was a heating and air contractor for thirty years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles and loved his mother and sister.

He is survived by his mother, Unia Watson Williams; children, Timothy Max Williams (Kendra), Tabitha Gale Williams (Dusty), Jeremy Wayne Williams (Haley) and Jacob Albert Williams (Casey); sister, Kimberla Gale Williams Hopkins (David); nephew, Aaron Jonah Hopkins; grandchildren, Bentley, Remington, Odin, Alec, Avery, Piper, October, Willow, Maci and Dosha.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dearl Max Williams Sr.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Hopkins, Shea Hallett, Dean Rook, Ralph Carter and Dominique Hallett.
