Curtis Anthony Schmidt, 82 of Pocahontas passed away Saturday August 21, 2021, at Stonebridge in Pocahontas.
He was born on March 29, 1939, in Pocahontas to the late Tony Schmidt and Pauline Nuce Schmidt.
Curtis served in the Army and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a field survey supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tony and Pauline Schmidt; sister Gretchen Firment; sister Mary Elizabeth Sicotte; brother Albert Schmidt; and brother John Schmidt.
Curits is survived by Catherine Clark of Scott, Trudy Ryles of Little Rock and Frank Schmidt of Belize, Central America.
Many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday August 26, 2021, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday August 27, 2021, at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Father Stephen Elser officiating burial to follow at St. Paul's Cemetery.
