Pocahontas - Coy E. Mitchell, 81, of Pocahontas passed away December 12, 2015 at his home. Born September 9, 1934 in Noland. He was the son of Olla and Reva Aubuchon Mitchell. He loved to travel, hunt, and fish. He was an honest and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of the Imboden Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Ross, Dorothy Gunter, and Bernice Byington; two granddaughters, Heather Dawn Hart and Adriana; one grandson, Jeremy Vaniel Hart; and one son-in-law, Jearold DuBois. He is survived by his wife, Helen Marie Gunter Mitchell; one son, Larry (Vickie) Mitchell; three daughters, Janit (Ronnie) Hart, Debbie DuBois, and Karin (Randy) Ward; ten grandchildren, Tracy (Adrian) Miesner, Jamie (Tony) Reed, Keith (Leslie) Davis, Rebecca (Micah) Newell, Carla Mitchell, Christopher (Jennifer) Hart, Jason DuBois, Christine (Jeremy) Naylor, Corey (Stephanie) Ward, and Codey Ward; one brother Everett (Barbara) Mitchell, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Herring officiating. Internment will be in Chesser Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 5-7 PM.
