Mrs. Connie Lee Musick of Walnut Ridge departed this life Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 75.
She was born May 7, 1942 in Ponchatoula, LA, the daughter of the late William L. Fletcher and Mary Willford Fletcher.
Connie was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She loved gardening, embroidering and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She married Jerry Musick in 1960 and they enjoyed 18 years together before his death in 1978.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas Allen Musick of Springfield, LA and James Ray Musick of Walnut Ridge, two daughter, Carla Lorraine Martin (Jerry) of Hoxie and Kim Gilley (Cecil) of Marked Tree, two sisters, Dianne Vampran and Joann Fontenot, both of Springfield, LA, four brothers, Buddy Fletcher, Richard Fletcher and William Fletcher, all of Springfield, LA and Terry Fletcher of Frost, LA, eight grandchildren, Ingrid Lee Musick, Danielle Kirby, Dominique Martin, Jerry Martin, Raelea Vampran Martin, Jennifer Carpenter, Janet McKenzie and Marcia Criswll and nine great grandchildren, Aalilah Schranz, Braden Schranz, Henzlee Martin, Maddax Martin, Wyatt Gardner, Chase McKenzie, Kennedy Criswell, Dorothy Criswell and Harper Simpson.
Connie will be cremated and buried next to her husband Jerry. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 228 W. Riverside Drive in Marked Tree. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
