Pocahontas- Clinton Guy Younger, 88, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Clinton was born December 26, 1930 in Stuttgart, AR to the late Clint and Ruth (nee Powell) Younger.

Clinton was a longtime resident and farmer in Maynard. He worked for the Maynard Schools and was a member of Sutton Free Will Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Clint served in the United States Air Force from 1946 to 1947 and the United States Army from 1952 to 1954.

He is survived by his children; Linda (James) Edington and Guy (Shannon) Younger, grandchildren; Ora, Cody, Delaney Edington, Katie Jenkins, Rhiannon, Gabriel and Noah Younger, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way. Sister Ruth Helfbower and brothers, Marvin Younger and Eugene Younger, and several nieces and nephews.

Clinton is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Gill Younger; daughter, Brenda Younger; and siblings, Lonnie Younger, Ed, Wesley, Earl, Claude, Alvin and Jerry Brewer.

The family will receive friends and family at McNabb Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 5-7 P.M. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 10 A.M. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers include: Ora Edington, Cody Edington, Gabriell Younger, Noah Younger, Josh Jenkins, and Kevin Late.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul Sheets and Randy Ring.
