Mr. Clifford Charles Clover of Trumann, formerly of Harrisburg, departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Jonesboro, at the age of 86.

He was born November 25, 1936 in Braymer, MO the son of the late Harry Clover and Lena Basham Clover.

Clifford was a 1954 graduate of Fredericktown High School in Fredericktown, MO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. His love was farming and he enjoyed it tremendously. He was the farm manager for Hyneman and Associates for 65 years. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and wood working. He married Joan Reed December 11, 1970 and they enjoyed 53 years together. He was a member of the Harrisburg First Assembly of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Jack Clover.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Clover of the home; one daughter, Kimberly Stewart (Jason) of Trumann; one brother, Lee Clover of Rolla, MO, and two grandchildren, Madison Stewart and Ethan Stewart, both of Trumann.

Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be Friday, August 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Jordan Blann and Mr. Gene Donaldson officiating, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Military Honors will be given by the U.S. Navy from Millington, TN. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg has been entrusted with all arrangements.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wright, Donnie Davis, Allen Bates, Jimmy Hillis, Ethan Stewart, Jason Stewart, Tony Jones and Jerry Cole. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ben Hyneman, Hal Hyneman, Matt Hyneman, Brian Hyneman, Roger Brown, Joe Guth ,Doyle Hillis and Randy Wigginton.
