Clayton Lee Brown, 78, of Pocahontas, departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Clayton was born on November 3, 1947, to the late Zan Brown and Maudie Seagraves Brown in the Hamil Community. He specialized in lawn care, where he took pride in his work, making yards look their best.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zan and Maudie Brown; brothers, Bob, Larry, Zan Jr., Darrell, and Gary Brown; and sister, Phyllis Olsher.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Patricia Brown; son, Michael Brown; grandson, Weslee Brown; siblings, Rick Brown, Don Brown, Pat Cordell, Sue Brown Wilson, and Mary Brown. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as final disposition, and a graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
