Pocahontas - Claudie Mac Moore, 80, passed away Monday, October 08, 2012. Born May 12, 1932 in Malden, MO., to the late Hester and Vera Moore. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Iddie Abanathy, three nephews and one niece. He is survived by wife Laura Moore of the home, children include: Michael L. Moore of Washington, MO., Rickie D. and wife Monica Moore of Cabot, AR., Claudie E. and wife Janice Moore of Ward, AR., Ronnie L. And wife Renee Moore of Pocahontas, Thersia D. and husband Terry Chambers of N. Little Rock, and Kathy B. And husband Stacy Dickerson of Austin, AR. 20 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Siblings include; Hester Norman and wife Eunice Moore of Harrison, AR., Ray Neil and wife Rita Moore of Ozark, MO., Iddie June Pett of Evansville, IN., and Joy Pauline and husband Jack Morris of Decatur, MI. Claudie lived and worked in Rockford, IL from a young man and moved back to Pocahontas in 1986. He loved garden and do outside work. He also loved fishing and hunting before he became unable to do these things. Claudie loved people and never met a stranger. He delighted in making children laugh. He was a member of Elmont Church. Claudie loved to witness to everyone he met about his Jesus. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caring Hands Hospice. Funeral service will be held at Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Bart Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
