Christopher Lee Elrod, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, at the age of 47.

He was born on June 2, 1973 in Osceola, Arkansas the son of Joyce Elrod. He married Wanda Mace on July 23, 2020.

Christopher graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1991. After high school he drove a truck, worked in factories, and also worked for many years as a machinist. He worked at West Memphis Steel for almost two years. Christopher liked to go boating and being on the lake. He and his wife spent a lot of time riding around listening to music. Christopher especially enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Elrod of Parkin, AR, his mother Joyce Stockton (Randy) of Marion, AR, six children Chelsea Lattimore of North Carolina, Hayden Griffiths (Robert) of Marion, AR, Marcus Kibby of Pocahontas, Iowa, Christopher Dewayne Elrod of Harrisburg, AR, Brandon Elrod of Harrisburg, AR and Wade Young (Kayla) of Parkin, AR. His brother Kelley Michael Elrod of Marion, AR. Five grandchildren Eva Lattimore, Ian Lattimore, London Griffiths, Salem Griffiths, and Alanah-Kay Young.

He is preceded in death by his sons Christopher Brady Elrod and Drew Garrett Elrod and his grandson Emmanuel Carbajal.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg, AR. Visitation will be Monday, March 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Boliver Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Roger Lattimore, Wade Young, Brandon Pounds, Robert Griffiths, Kenny Suggs, and Christopher Elrod.
