Pocahontas- Christine Brown, 69, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.

Christine was born December 24, 1947 in Pocahontas, AR to Martha Pauline Cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Harry Hawkins, and 1 sister.

She is survived by daughters, Dorothy Cook, Angela (Michael Don) Pratt, Debbie (Dale) Thorne, boyfriend Carl McCain. grandchildren, Amanda and Samantha Hodge, Holly Montsinger, J.R. Jones, Tiffany and Morgan Thorne; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jane (Ted) Todd, Selma (Felex) Whitted; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2017 from 1-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm with Terry Miller officiating. Burial in Palestine Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Joel Lee Jones Jr., Joshua Jones, Joe Jones, Damion Clover, Earl Gray, Les McPherson, Chris Smith, and Dale Thorne.
