Mrs. Cheryl V. Kelley, of Fisher, departed this life Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at the St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 63. She was born September 2, 1952 in Fisher, the daughter of the late William Horst and Jean Bush Horst. Cheryl worked many years for American Greetings and later worked as a telephone technician for Optus in Jonesboro. She married Greg Kelley on September 6, 1975, and they enjoyed 40 years together. She was a member of the Fisher United Methodist Church and loved spending time in her garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jean Horst, her grandparents, Buster and Eva bush and William and Ethel Horst and one sister, Kathy Horst.. She is survived by her husband Greg Kelley of the home, two children, Rickey Kelley and wife Shawnya of Jonesboro and Chrissy Kelley of Newport, one sister, Gayle Horst Lawrence of Harrisburg, a brother in law, Ray Owens of Fisher, three brothers, Billy Stone and wife Fran, Marty Horst and Glenn Horst, all of Fisher, five grandchildren, Maddy Scudder, Dalton Kelley and Deston Kelley, all of Fisher, Meaghan Beshears of Tuckerman, Karrington Kelley of Jonesboro, two great grandchildren, Kelton Scudder and Rhett Deckleman, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the Fisher United Methodist Church with Rev. Jesse James officiating. Friends may visit at the church Thursday morning, 10:00 a.m. till service time. Interment will follow in Fisher Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Pallbearers will be Randel Davis, Daniel Cooper Pimentel, Tommy Campbell, Mark Allen Horst, Jonathan Horst, and Rodney Shelley. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Owens, Pat Borhman, Edwin Wixson, Larry Sefers, Herman Shelley and Todd Bartholomew. Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider the Fisher Fire Department or the Fisher United Methodist Church.
