Mt. Home - Charlotte Ann Holden, 68, passed away August 24, 2015 in Springfield, MO. She was born May 2, 1947 in Jonesboro to Ralph and Viola Browning Barnes and was raised in Bono where she lived for 48 years. She loved to read and was a huge Cardinals fan. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her smile and giggles will be remembered at the family gatherings she loved so dearly. Survivors include her son, Gary Tolbert of Jonesboro; daughter, Brandi Holden of Mt. Home; grandchildren, Shaley Tolbert of Jonesboro and Madison, Kamryn and Hailey Dunn all of Mt. Home; father, Ralph Barnes of Mt. Home; sister, Lisa Russell and husband Allan of Jonesboro; brother, Randell Barnes and wife Jane of Trumann; nephews, Derek and Aaron Russell both of Jonesboro as well as many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Barnes. A celebration of Charlotte's life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 in the chapel of Gregg Langford-Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Hathcoat officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery in Bono. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 Thursday evening. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Randall Barnes, Derek Russell, Aaron Russell, Barry Holden, Allan Russell and Norman Leonard. Memorials may be made to Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
