Mrs. Charline Sanders of Cherry Valley, departed this life Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Baptist Reynold Hospice House in Collierville, TN, at the age of 89.

She was born October 25, 1932 in Cherry Valley, AR, the daughter of the late Oscar Kendall and Elsie McClung Kendall.

Charline was employed at Addison Shoe Factory in Wynne and retired in 1984 after over 20 years. She loved fishing, quilting and flowers. She really loved her family, kids, grandkids, and her church family.  She was a member of the Cherry Valley Baptist Church and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She always made herself available to help with VBS.  Her family says she loved Jesus BIG!

She is survived by five children, Larry Sanders (Vickie) of Cherry Valley, Richard Sanders (Lois) of Whitehall Community, Donnie Sanders (Mary Beth) of Wynne, Gary Sanders (Chelly) of Bowden, GA and Kathy Eckles (Brent) of Collierville, TN, one brother, Oscar Kendall of Cherry Valley, two sister-in-laws, Frances Sanders of Vandale and Cheryl Finlay of Cherry Valley, nineteen grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Sanders, four brothers, Melvin Kendall, James Kendall, Billy Kendall and Don Kendall, three sisters, Alice Gay, Maxine Stewart and Anise Wiley, and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg.  Interment will follow in Vandale Cemetery.  Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m.  Pallbearers will be Gary Wayne Sanders, Steven Haynes, Shane Haynes, Kylan Sutton, Chris Mackey and Mike Noel.
