Bono- Charles Harold Reynolds, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.
He was born August 6, 1939 in Effingham, Illinois to the late Harold and Stella Givens Reynolds. Charles served his country proudly in the Arkansas National Guard. He owned and operated Anco Metal Company in Jonesboro. He had worked as a self-employed roofer and working in lawn care. He enjoyed woodworking, computers, fishing, hunting and going to Lake Norfork.
He was also preceded in death by two step-sons, Casey Cooper and Shannon Cooper; a granddaughter, Misty Dawn Gibbs and a sister, Thelma Reynolds.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Brenda Cole Reynolds; children, Rickey Reynolds (Michele) of Jonesboro, Randy Reynolds (Debbie), Cindy Drummonds (Steve) and Becky Gibbs (Avondale) all of Bono; a brother, Roger Reynolds (Barbara) of Batesville; a sister, Rosemary Moody of Bono; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until noon, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday with Richard Akins officiating at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Danny Blalock, Bubba Howard, Zac Reynolds, Shawn Drummonds, Jeremy Gibbs and Rickey Reynolds.
Lasting memorials may be sent to Food Pantry at Bono Church of Christ.
