Obituary

Paragould- Charles A. Michael, 95, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at his home.

He was born September 29, 1923 in Knobel to the late Everett and Annie Johns Michael. Charles served his country proudly in the United States Marines during World War II as a sniper and a military police officer. He owned and operated a car body shop for over fifty years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and restoring cars and loved spending time with his family.

He was survived by his wife, Nina Michael; children, Darla Pietrantonio (Mark) of Big Springs, Texas, Tracy Kron (Jason) of Fort Smith, Larry Bulla (Angela) and Lori Burdin (Jack) all of Paragould, Dwayne Fowler (Kathy) of Pensacola, FL, Bruce Fowler (Lori) of Coeur d'alene, Idaho and Lonnie Moss of Merced, CA; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Fisher and Sylvia Little.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Suvella Michael; four brothers and three sisters.

A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Friday, September 6, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Bulla and Rev. Rob Mclllwain officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service, Friday at the funeral home.
