Obituary

Cash- Charles Devan "Bo" Gossage, 87, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

Devan was born June 24, 1936 in Cash to the late William Alva and Myrtle Dunn Gossage. He was a farmer who also enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Erlene Brannen Gossage; daughter, Tammy Ellis and sisters, Helen Holder, Faye Cook and Macel Armour.

He is survived by a son-in-law, Charles Ellis of Cash; brother-in-law, Paul Holder of Swifton; niece, Linda George (Gary) of Powhatan; great-nephew, Bradley George (Tristan Rudd) and friend, Debbie Slaven of Cash.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Cash.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Riggs, Michael Riggs, Ronnie Jones, Bo Woolwine, Belo Ellis and Scotty Gibson and as honorary pallbearers are Charles Ellis, Earl Webster, Jerry Riggs, Bob Wortham, Larry Farley, Jerry Cox and Timmy Gibson.
