Charles Elwood Smith, 64, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at his home.

He was born September 6, 1961 in Mt. Gilead, Illinois to the late Albert Arnold and Wanda Sue Gillihue Smith. Charles was self-employed as a welder/fabricator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Wanda Smith; and by two brothers, Albert Smith Jr and Michael Anthony Smith.

Charles is survived by his brother, Jeffery Smith of Hot Springs.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. Services will be held at a later date.

All arrangements are under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
