Mr. Charles Ray "Dugan" Harkey of Judsonia, departed this life Thursday night, July 30, 2020, at his home, at the age of 73.
He was born November 4, 1946 in Harrisburg, the son of the late Billy Harkey, Sr. and Era Cole Harkey.
Dugan was an iron worker for most of his life and worked for Iron Worker\u0027s Union #167, Memphis, TN. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Harkey, Jr. and one sister, Judy Garner.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Moldan Harkey of the home, four children, Patricia Potter (Michael) of Paragould, Gary Ray Harkey and Terry Lee Harkey (Kim), all of Harrisburg, and Acea Taverna of Judsonia, one sister, Sheila O\u0027Brien (Don) of Trumann, twelve grandchildren and eight great greandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, August 3, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., at the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Jason Goad officiating. There will be no visitation. Pallbearers will be Terry Harkey, Gary harkey, Brian Harkey, Josh Whitford, Kevin Hale and Donnie O\u0027Brien.
