Cathy Lee Wynn (Sanders),66, of Harrisburg, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Wednesday morning, September 30th, 2026. Cathy lived her final days surrounded by her family at her home in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
Cathy was born on December 28th, 1959, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam Nance and Mildred Creekmore (Bell), one sister, Carolyn Massey, and one nephew, Rodney Lee.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Tommy Wynn, of Harrisburg, Arkansas for 15 years, one daughter, Stephanie Sanders, of Marmaduke, Arkansas, two sons, Brandon (Terra) Buchanan, of Harrisburg, Arkansas, and Gary (Judy) Sanders, of Searcy, Arkansas, four stepsons, Donald Sanders, of Truman, Arkansas, Edward and Charlie Sanders, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Drew Wynn, of Valley View, Arkansas, one sister, Helen Brewington, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, a slew of grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Cathy was many things to many people: a devoted mother, loving wife, perfect grandmother, and caring friend.
She was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
She selflessly served The Jumpstart Ministry from 2021-2024. She enjoyed card games, gardening, dancing, and her strawberry milkshakes. She devoted her life to the Lord and made it her mission to share his love with everyone she met; her greatest passion was telling people about Jesus and helping others find hope, peace, and salvation through him.
She adored her family immensely, and whether you knew her for decades or only days, and whether you called her by name, Mom, Nanny, or Grandma, she was love, she was comfort, she was home, and she was loved so deeply by everyone who knew her. If connection was a currency, she would have been rich beyond measure and she will be missed forever.
